But what I’ve come to realize is that my path isn’t about choosing one narrow direction, it’s about staying open to the moments where God calls you to show up, to step in, and to build something that matters.
Every project, every company, every conversation is part of that calling. Not random. Not scattered. But orchestrated. And when we approach the work through that lens, figuring out “what to do”; is an opportunity to serve with love, creativity, and joy wherever we are needed most.
Sometimes that means navigating complex land deals or solving tough engineering challenges. Sometimes it means mentoring, showing up in hard conversations, or finding a way forward when the road gets tight. And at other times, it simply means being present , whether with my family, my team, or a community in transition.
I’ve led construction firms, founded development companies, been involved in solving complex challenges with city officials, capital partners, engineers, and homeowners, all trying to create a better outcome. And in each setting, the goal remains the same: lead with integrity, act with compassion, and build something that will outlast me.
This isn’t just a profession. It’s a calling.
Not because it’s always easy, but because it’s always worth it.
