Let’s be honest: real information rarely sells anymore.
We live in an age where drama drives clicks, and the loudest voices, true or not, often drown out the ones rooted in honesty. There’s even neuroscience to back it up. When we consume gossip, outrage, or conflict, our brains release dopamine, the same chemical triggered by addictive substances. The Spanish-speaking culture refers to it as chisme, a word that perfectly captures how irresistible, and sometimes damaging, it can be.
Well, there’s been plenty of chisme about me.
But that’s not what this blog is about.
This space wasn’t created to stir the pot. It was created to clear the air, share the journey, and maybe, just maybe, help someone else who’s walking a hard road of their own.

What This Series Is (and What It Isn’t)
We’re not here to point fingers, rewrite history, or sell a sanitized version of the truth. We’re here to share it, openly, humbly, and from a place of growth.
Yes, we’ll talk about the real stuff:
- Choosing transparency over optics
- Trinity’s Involuntary Bankruptcy
- Choosing character over shortcuts
- Being arrested at the federal courthouse
- Public assumptions, private battles
- And wins along the way…
But this blog is not about headlines. It’s about healing. It’s about offering context, sharing the facts, and providing a window into how we kept going, and why we did it with love at the center.

A Greater Purpose
As wild and chaotic as this past season has been, I’ve learned something deeply humbling: people are not alone in their struggles. We might wear different shoes, but many of us are walking similar roads. And often, the toughest roads lead to the greatest transformation.
Albert Einstein said, “Adversity introduces a man to himself.”
He wasn’t wrong.
There have been times I’ve questioned everything. But the truth is, these trials tested me in ways that built me into someone better; more grounded, more grateful, and more committed to creating with intention.
To Anyone Feeling Alone in the Fight
If you’re in the middle of something hard right now, financial, legal, emotional, spiritual, please hear this:
You’re not broken. You’re becoming.
The hardest door to walk through is often the one that leads to real growth. And at any point in your journey, you still have a choice: you can choose fear, or you can choose love.
Choosing love doesn’t mean being passive. It means being powerful in a different way. It means responding with clarity, grace, and intention. It means holding onto your integrity when the world tries to rip it from you.

Why We’re Telling These Stories
I’ve been blessed with this opportunity and a platform. I don’t take that lightly.
This blog is a place to tell the truth, to give insight into the mess and the meaning behind what we’ve built, and to extend a hand to others who may be growing through their own challenges. Because that’s what it’s really about, growth.
We hope this series speaks to the builders, the underdogs, the comeback kids, and the ones standing in the fire and choosing to keep going.
This isn’t a PR move. It’s a personal one.

With gratitude,
Corey Waldrop
